The Original Soloflex Man is Dead!

Well, not really……

The body of original Soloflex muscle model Don Diamont‘s character ‘Brad Carlton’ on the daytime soap opera “The Young & The Restless” was found dead in an icy lake today.

Don played the role of ‘Brad Carlton’ for the last 25 years, and motherfucker is still ripped and muscular as all hell… talk about aging gracefully!

Diamont was also a cover model for Playgirl magazine twice, in 1988 and 1995.

He was the first soap opera star to ever be featured in People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in the World issue, and was voted No. 1 on the Sexiest Soap Hunks of All Time list in 2006.

We met him several times a few years ago, and he is such a great guy… we wish him luck in his future acting endeavors.

He’s so talented, so we can’t really imagine him being off the air for too long before some other show snatches him up.

Daytime soaps have been killing off long term characters because of the economy (they can’t afford to pay their hefty salaries), and also because the ratings are way down due to more reliance on the Internet for entertainment purposes.
