In a much controversial statement, WWE wrestler John Cena said that Alex Rodriguez should be in jail because of his steroid usage.

The daring wrestling acting star who is currently starring in the movie “12 Rounds,” has apparently forgotten about doing steroids himself…… idiot!!!!!

When A-Rod was asked for his reaction to Cena’s comment, he got defensive and said that he used them (steroids) because he felt he needed to.

But Cena is adamant that if you get caught using drugs then you should go to jail.

Can’t we all just get along, Johnny Boy?????

UFC Veteran Ken Shamrock Tests Positive For Nandrolone

In a sport where steroid use is highly expected, what comes as a surprise is that players still get sanctioned when they are discovered to be using them.

That is the case for Ken Shamrock, the “World’s Most Dangerous Man,” and Ultimate Fighting Champion Hall of Famer.

It was discovered that prior to his fight with Ross “Grizzly” Clifton he administered some PEDs (His urine tested positive with the substance).

This report was just announced by the California State Althletic Commission!!!!

The steroid substances found in Shamrock’s urine sample were two Nandrolone-based substances 19-Norandrosterone and 19-Noretiocholanolone.

From Examiner.com:

“The World’s Most Dangerous Man” may have landed a heavier blow to his own career than he did to Ross “Grizzly” Clifton in their fight last month. Yesterday, the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) announced that Shamrock had failed a drug test administered prior to his February 13th bout with Clifton and has suspended him for one full year.

According to the CSAC, Shamrock tested positive for the steroid Stanozolol, as well as two Nandrolone-based substances, 19-Norandrosterone and 19-Noretiocholanolone.

Shamrock denied the charges and his attorney has stated that they plan to appeal. The 45-year-old UFC Hall of Fame member was scheduled to fight Bobby Lashley in Florida on March 21st. It is likely that the Florida commission will uphold the CSAC’s suspension and an appeal would probably not be resolved in time to make that fight happen.

When Shamrock is suspended he will be able to apply for reinstatement in February 2010 before he turns 46.

Tisk! Tisk! Shame! Shame!

A-Roid Recuperates From Hip Surgery

N.Y. Yankees star, Alex Rodriguez, who dominated the sports news recently after admitting his use of steroids, is now recuperating from his recent hip surgery at the snow-capped Rockies.

It was reported in the last two weeks that A-Rod had a hip injury that formed into a cyst.

Rumors circulated that the cyst was due to his administration of performance enhancing drugs, which he confessed of doing in 2001-2003 while he was still with the Texas Rangers.

However, doctors said that there was no evidence of the cyst related to Rodriguez’s steroid use. It was not at the injection site as some had suspected.

A-Rod was operated on by top sports surgeon Dr. Mike Philippon who said that the cause of the baseball stars cyst developed due to a tear found in the labrum.

Rodriguez is now recovering at a luxurious cabin at the Cascade Village.

We wonder if ex-fuckbuddy Madonna is paying him conjugal visits while her Brazilian boy-toy Jesus Luz is back in Brazil for a modeling gig.

Steroid Paraphernalia Might Indict Roger Clemens On Perjury Charges

Posted In: Baseball, News, Sports, Steroids

Last year, anabolic steroid paraphernalia linking New York Yankees player Roger Clemens to the use of performance enhancing drugs was tested positive to contain his DNA. This strengthens the testimony of Brian McNamee who was accused of injecting Clemens with PEDs and human growth hormone. Clemens did not deny that he was injected with substances but says they were not steroids…. just Vitamin B12 and lidocaine.

Yeah, ummm, okay….

Well Clemens is NOW accused of committing perjury for telling the Congress last year that he did not use performance enhancing drugs. McNamee says otherwise, producing evidence that would prove Clemens guilty.

And it’s good evidence too, like: vials, syringes and gauze pads!!!

Kinda gross, eh? I mean, who saves biohazard material like that?!! LOL!

Reports claim that Clemens’ DNA was found on one of the syringes and gauzes pads used to wipe his blood.

Rusty Hardin, Clemens’ lawyer, said that it was not surprising that evidence had surfaced.

From The New York Times:

“Duh,” he said with exaggeration. “Do you really think McNamee was going to fabricate this stuff and not make sure there were substances on there? The fact is Roger never used steroids or H.G.H.”

When McNamee handed over the materials to federal authorities in January 2008, he said that he had kept them in a Federal Express box in his basement since he had used them to inject Clemens in 2000 and 2001.

The tests on the materials are being conducted at the Los Angeles-area laboratory of Dr. Don Catlin. Since the government began aggressively looking into the distribution of performance-enhancing drugs in 2002, Catlin has been the lead drug-tester for federal prosecutors.

Personally (and isn’t that what it’s really all about?), we’d feel much better if Roger Clemens just came out and said, “Performance enhancing drugs? You’re damn straight I took them. How else do think I’d be able to win seven Cy Young awards after banging country singer Mindy McCready every night and only getting three hours of sleep?”

Darryl Strawberry Wishes He Used Steroids

Posted In: News, Sports, Steroids

Outspoken Mets rightfielder Darryl Strawberry did not have to think twice when he said that he wished he took steroids back in the ‘80s. A bold statement at the height of Alex Rodriguez’s steroid scandal.

In an interview, Strawberry reasoned that the intense competition in his field would have driven him to use performance enhancing drugs if they had been offered to him.

He also praised Rodriguez for coming out and admitting that he was into steroids.

From Newsday:

“I love Alex and respect him, and I’m glad Alex was man enough to stand up and tell the truth about it,” Strawberry said. “But I have a hard time with the union when one player out of 104 players’ names comes out and it’s Alex Rodriguez – on testing that was done that was supposed to be confidential.

“Obviously, somebody had it out for him, and it’s not fair. If you’re going to name one, why don’t you name all of them. That’s the problem I have with this whole situation. They have put Alex in a situation where it’s him alone against the world. That’s not fair. It’s unfortunate, but that’s what happens when you play in New York.”

Strawberry also commented that younger baseball players are more susceptible to the lure of steroids because they are naive and increasingly very competitive. He said he was like that when he was their age…. which I guess means that he is supposed understand their perspective.

Uh… whatever you say, Daryl!

A man who went missing during a fishing trip has been found clinging to an overturned boat that belongs to Oakland Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper, the Coast Guard said Monday.

The Coast Guard says former University of South Florida player Nick Schuyler was rescued Monday off the Florida coast. Authorities say Cooper, Detroit Lions free agent Corey Smith and former South Florida player, William Bleakley, remain missing.

Coast Guard Capt. Timothy M. Close says Schuyler told rescuers that the 21-foot boat was anchored when it flipped Saturday evening in rough seas. Schuyler told rescuers the others got separated from the boat and that he had been clinging to it since.

Television footage shows Schuyler conscious but weak as he was being taken off a Coast Guard helicopter at Tampa General Hospital and placed on a stretcher.

The Coast Guard has been searching for the four men since they were reported missing early Sunday morning. As of Monday morning, they had searched 16,000 square miles off Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Petty Officer Sondra-Kay Kneen said they have located a vessel Monday and “a person on that vessel.”

No further details were provided.

Cooper is an Oakland Raiders linebacker. Smith is a Detroit Lions free-agent defensive end. William Bleakley and Schuyler, the other men on board, are both former University of South Florida players.
