U.S. NCAA Football Rivalry Weekend Is Upon Us… Who’s YOUR Team?

For college football fans in the States, the next 4 days will be quite exciting to say the least (but only if your team doesnt SUCK like my team this year… UCLA seriously needs to get rid of Rick Neuheisel AND athletic director idiot Dan Guerrero)

Sigh….

Anyway, for all you faithful GymJox sports fan who follow college football and the BCS, who are you rooting for?

Which games do you think have the potential to shake up the BCS? Is your team among them? And if not, do you HATE your team’s coaching regime as much as I do right now?!

Y’all know that GymJox is a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of NCAA football… and with good reason!

Aside from checkin’ out all the hot new muscular talent fresh out of high school (as perverted as that might sound, LOL), this year promises to be an exciting football season.

We like Notre Dame this year, and we’re real excited to see how the new PAC-12 Conference fares with it’s new playoff system.

So which team are you rooting for????

The NCAA College Football Shake-Up!

For those of you who get into college football like we do, did ya’ happen to catch all the high profile losses that went down over the weekend?

Our favorite moment was Oregon’s routing of Cal…..! INSANE!

We are so excited to see where all the other teams will be ranked once the BCS standings cum out next weekend.

And for those of you who could care less about American college football, did you know that if you stare really hard enough you can actually see that every guy on the field is wearing a jockstrap?

Keep your eyes peeled the next time you watch a football game on TV to see what we mean! Hehehe!!!

NFL Players Still Missing After Boat Found

A man who went missing during a fishing trip has been found clinging to an overturned boat that belongs to Oakland Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper, the Coast Guard said Monday.

The Coast Guard says former University of South Florida player Nick Schuyler was rescued Monday off the Florida coast. Authorities say Cooper, Detroit Lions free agent Corey Smith and former South Florida player, William Bleakley, remain missing.

Coast Guard Capt. Timothy M. Close says Schuyler told rescuers that the 21-foot boat was anchored when it flipped Saturday evening in rough seas. Schuyler told rescuers the others got separated from the boat and that he had been clinging to it since.

Television footage shows Schuyler conscious but weak as he was being taken off a Coast Guard helicopter at Tampa General Hospital and placed on a stretcher.

The Coast Guard has been searching for the four men since they were reported missing early Sunday morning. As of Monday morning, they had searched 16,000 square miles off Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Petty Officer Sondra-Kay Kneen said they have located a vessel Monday and “a person on that vessel.”

No further details were provided.

Cooper is an Oakland Raiders linebacker. Smith is a Detroit Lions free-agent defensive end. William Bleakley and Schuyler, the other men on board, are both former University of South Florida players.
