A power athlete, he has long specialised in vault and floor.

Marian Dragulescu no longer competes in all six events, which has given him more time to focus on those he does still train. As such, he has gained even more success in his strongest events.

Joona Tapio Puhakka (born June 23, 1982 in Kerava) is a diver from Finland, who competed in two consecutive Summer Olympics for his native country, starting in 2000.

He won the bronze medal in the men’s 1-metre springboard at the 2003 World Championships.

Having originally started out as a swimmer, he changed over to the diving platform when this fun sport started to become more interesting than doing lengths of the pool.

Puhakka is a product of the Vantaa Swimming Club and will be representing his country at the 2008 Beijing Olympics… which begin next week!
